General Security
Data security can be measured and controlled. The General Security course uses a reference model to lead the participants through the required modules for implementing a corporate-wide security management and controlling framework, which makes security manageable and ensures compliancy to standards such as BS7799/ISO17799/ISO27000/SOx (and others) and local regulations and law.
OSSTMM Professional Security Expert (OPSE)
This course transmits understanding of the various aspects of IT security using the OSSTMM methodology, many practical examples and an overview of the current standards and best practices. Through this general orientation the participants are trained to become efficient coordinators in projects and teams. This course includes the official OPSE examination.
OSSTMM Professional Security Analyst (OPSA)
The participants learn about the analytical procedures and acquire the knowledge needed to judge on security and risks and develop strategies for improvement. Owing to the acquired know-how, the participants get to be able to assume important roles in projects, audits, security teams and as consultants. This course includes the official OPSA examination.
OSSTMM Professional Security Tester (OPST)
This course provides the participants with the technical knowledge, the required tools and the OSSTMM methodology. In that way they become operational as security testers who are able to carry out tests which are extensive, retraceable and carried out with due regard to business requirements. This course includes the official OPST examination.
Offensive Security using <<back|track
The participants of this course are getting acquainted with hacking techniques using scenarios close to practice. That leads to a professional technical understanding of security issues. The material for this course has been developed by the developers of <<back|track in collaboration with Dreamlab Technologies AG.
Security Challenges
The security challenges have been developed to promote and verify professional experience in security administration in specific fields and to deepen the knowledge acquired in the security course modules. The Challenges have a modular structure and can be assorted individually to prepare the participants for the challenges awaiting them at their work.
Hacker Highschool
The «Hacker Highschool-Security awareness for teens» is a classroom tool which has been prepared by the «Institute for Security and Open Methodologies (ISECOM)». «Hacker Highschool» is a course concept which has been specially designed for young people and is offered within the framework of formal school education or scholastic events. A complete chapter of the «Hacker Highschool» course is devoted to the subject of Ethics and legal aspects in the Internet.
